Participants are being recruited for a six-year study to search for health effects of people drinking water with PFAS contamination.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services said Tuesday that 130 people have been recruited in Kalamazoo and Kent counties, where the study is being conducted.
The department would like 4,000 participants from the two areas and is seeking volunteers.
