New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Division of Environmental Remediation (DER) performs or oversees sampling of environmental media and subsequent analysis of PFAS as part of remedial programs implemented under 6 NYCRR Part 375. To ensure consistency in sampling, analysis and reporting of PFAS, DER has developed this document to summarize procedures and update previous DER technical guidance
pertaining to PFAS.
