Q Magazine publishes first issue, features articles from Illinois students enrolled in Certificate in Environmental Writing program

The first issue of Q Magazine is now available. Articles in the publication are written by University of Illinois students enrolled in the Undergraduate Certificate in Environmental Writing (CEW), a joint venture of the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment (iSEE), the School for Earth, Society, and Environment (SESE), and the English Department.

Stories include the implications of sea level rise in Florida; the aftermath of Hurricane Irma on the island of St. Thomas;  and the legacy of Hazel Johnson, who fought for environmental justice in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood of Chicago.
