To help build the Environmental Protection Agency’s capabilities to address our agency’s mission in a more holistic and sustainable manner, EPA’s office of Research and Development is providing training on the theory, methods and tools of Systems Thinking (ST) and System Dynamics (SD), which are useful for modeling and analysis of socio-economic and environmental issues. This webinar is a 1.5 hours introductory session that will provide all EPA staff and our partners with a basic understanding of systems dynamics, systems modeling, the use of Causal Loop Diagrams (CLD) to analyze real-world complex systems and how to apply it in EPA’s programs. The trainer, Andrea Bassi, is an internationally known thought leader on systems dynamics.
