A study released today on supply-chain sustainability management in the information and communications tech sector offers insights into how firms such as Facebook, Oracle and Dell are looking at the environmental and social impacts of their operations. Michael Shoemaker provides the first of a four-part series on the topic and I proffer some additional insights. Meanwhile, Barbara Kyle addresses the growing mountains of old (and toxic) cathode ray tubes from TVs and computer monitors that are sitting in warehouses.
